Elizabeth Stryker sends the poem: Past, Present, and Future
The drawing
“Do the right thing for the sake of the next generation”
by Elizabeth Stryker:

Elizabeth says:
I drew a tree beginning at seedling, and evolving every new picture and the message I want to share with everyone is: whatever you do now, any choice you decide will be the future. And if we, as selfish human beings kill all the trees our children’s children won’t have any nature to enjoy and love. Actually this picture has many different meanings to it- just look at the picture and choose what you think this picture means.
We all want something, some of us want world peace, no more sickness, to fall in love, become a good person, get an A on the next Math test, a pet, or something, but all I want is to have my children to be able to see forest alive and lush.
And the photo: “Working together to accomplish something great”
By Elizabeth Stryker

Elizabeth says:
My school put on its annual play- this year it was The Pied Piper. I didn’t really believe that was a very good play compared to previous years, but I did the play to be with my friends. If you think about it, one person can change the world, so them I guess 10 people can save 20 people’s lives, right? I’m not quiet sure how to describe this picture, but I’ll try. If one person is trying to be peaceful how can the other person be peaceful right back at that other person? Like most things in life it takes two people to accomplish anything, you know, if you don’t love someone, there isn’t any promise the other person will love you back. So we all, everybody in the world has to work together to make life a little more peaceful. I’m not asking for world peace, but world effort.
A little peace can go a long way, maybe if everyone in the cast of Pied Piper can get along and put there differences aside, maybe other people can as well.
