In the Age 10 to 13 Division, ceramic and acrylic paint,

"Friendship Around The World" by St. Anthony 5th Grade Class.
Their entry stated,
"Friendship and acceptance are at the heart of Peace. We can move toward
world peace if we all rejoice in and accept each others differences."
In the Age 14 to 18 Division, a photograph,

"Peace Shines Through" by Ali Grigar.
Ali said,
"The sun shining through the clouds reminds us we must shine through the violence and the hate and help bring peace to the world."
In the Adult Division, fused art glass,

"Peace-ing It Together," by Bill Zuelke.
Building Peace requires all the pieces being put together, all people, all ages, all resources, all hope, all justice. Everyone of us must work for peace.
For the Artist’s Statement: Peggy Bird stated:
"Peace can rise from war if we persist; if we insist; if we reject the easy
answer that violence is the answer and engage with our adversaries in
the work of peace-making.
